I can say that there's no fps on any console which offers a huge battlefield that spans over acres with 40 AI and 20 vehicles....if it meant having this kinda detail for polygon models and textures for characters and weapons.

look at that, in such a short amount of time we're already getting positive feedback from the developers. lots of companies have made good games that never made it to a sequel.....and this game just so happens to NOT be that game.

regardless of snake being a legend and all splinter cell is more serious, and consequences are more fatal as are the rules to the game.
there's no items, rations, magazines, or cardboard boxes, Splinter cell minuses out all of the comedy, robots, awkward flash backs/references, and flashy choreography that metal gear has and just focuses on pure tactical stealth ops.(European style.)
resulting in a completely different style of gameplay and it's popular cause of that...
